Getting into the app

You do not need an account to read racecards, results or news — choose Look around first on the opening screen. An account is only needed to nap a horse and appear in the naps table.

If a sign-in link has not arrived, check the junk folder first. Links are valid for a short time; if yours has expired, ask for another from the sign-in screen.

Your nap

• One nap per person per day, entered before the race runs.
• You can change it up until the off, from the card on the Nap tab.
• Once the race has been run the card shows whether it won, and where it finished.
• The naps table ranks on settled naps only, and needs ten before anyone appears.

Deleting your account

Profile → Delete your account. It removes your account and your whole nap record immediately and permanently. You do not have to ask us, and we keep no archive copy.

Racing data looks wrong

Cards, results, prices, going and raceday weather all come from The Racing API. We publish what they give us and do not edit it. Cards change through the day, horses are withdrawn, and results are occasionally amended after an enquiry — always check with the racecourse or the official results service before acting on anything you read here. If something looks wrong for longer than an hour, tell us which race and we will chase it.

The app will not load

Pull down to refresh, or close and reopen it. If a card says it could not be loaded, that is the app telling you the truth rather than showing you an old one — open the tab again in a minute. If it persists, tell us your device and what the screen says.

The Club

Club membership and racing club shares are a separate product and are not bought in the app. Questions about a membership, a ballot or a raceday should come to us by post at the address below.
